PANews March 4 news, analyst Adam Button said that the current trade environment is difficult, and it is equally difficult to formulate interest rate policies. So far, there have been few signs of the Fed being more dovish, but St. Louis Fed President Musallem yesterday highlighted some downside risks facing the economy, opening the door for the Fed. In addition, every Fed official has made a similar "wait and see" statement, emphasizing that they hope to cut interest rates after seeing 2% inflation. The market is not waiting for a stronger signal, as it has increased the Fed's easing this year from 40 basis points a few weeks ago to 80 basis points. The upcoming March meeting still shows a very small chance of a rate cut, but the probability of a rate cut at the May meeting is now over 50%. At the farther end of the curve, the terminal rate has fallen by about 50 basis points.
The market has fully digested the expectation that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates three times this year
