WTI crude oil prices climbed to a new high since February.

PANews reported on February 19 that WTI crude oil prices broke through the highs set on February 4 and 11, surpassing the $66 per barrel mark and reaching a new high for February.

This round of price increases is mainly driven by escalating geopolitical tensions, particularly those surrounding Iran. Against this backdrop of rising geopolitical tensions, oil prices are approaching their highest levels this year.
