PANews reported on March 10th that a WeChat employee, "Kecun Xiaojiang," posted on Weibo that the claim of giving OpenClaw instructions and having AI automatically send red envelopes is false. "The QClaw mentioned in the screenshot doesn't yet have a mobile deployment plan, and WeChat on PC doesn't support sending red envelopes. The person who made the joke has clarified this themselves, so please don't spread misinformation." He also reminded users to be careful with access control for tools like OpenClaw that involve AI-automated decision-making and operations.
