US media: Vance criticizes Netanyahu

PANews reported on March 27 that, according to Axios, US Vice President Vance criticized Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu for being overly optimistic in his predictions regarding the upcoming US-Israel-Iran conflict during a phone call earlier this week, arguing that Netanyahu "exaggerated the possibility of regime change in Iran." The report cited a US official who stated that before the US-Israel attacks on Iran, Netanyahu had portrayed the conflict as "easy to handle" and emphasized the "high probability of regime change" in Iran, but Vance expressed skepticism. The official also stated that Vance "played a leading role" in the US-Iran ceasefire negotiations, while Israel is attempting to sabotage them.
