PANews reported on April 5th that, according to official data, in the seven days ending April 2nd, Circle issued approximately 5.9 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 6.7 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 800 million USDC in circulating supply. The total circulating supply of USDC is 77.1 billion, with reserves of approximately $77.2 billion, including approximately $43.9 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $20.3 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $12.4 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $600 million from other bank deposits.
The circulating supply of USDC has decreased by approximately 800 million coins in the past 7 days.
