PANews reported on January 1st that, according to official data, in the seven days ending December 29th, Circle issued approximately 4.6 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 5.7 billion USDC, resulting in a decrease of approximately 1.1 billion USDC in circulation. The total circulating supply of USDC is 75.9 billion, with reserves of approximately $76.3 billion, including approximately $51 billion in overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $14.6 billion in Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $10 billion in systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $800 million in other bank deposits.
