OpenAI lowers the barrier to entry for its premium services, launching a $100 Pro subscription.

PANews reported on April 10th that, according to the Daily Economic News, OpenAI announced on April 9th (Eastern Time) the launch of a new $100/month ChatGPT Pro subscription plan, further refining its previously high-end service priced at $200 and marking a more sophisticated phase in its commercialization strategy. OpenAI stated that the new service aims to better support users' growing demand for its AI-based programming aid, Codex. From a product positioning perspective, the new Pro plan clearly leans towards the developer ecosystem, particularly focusing on use cases surrounding Codex (AI programming agent): long-duration, high-intensity tasks (such as automated programming and code review); multi-round complex inference and execution; and continuously running agent tasks.
