Tom Duff Gordon, Coinbase's VP of International Policy, has left the company to join OpenAI.

PANews reported on April 14th that, according to CoinDesk, Tom Duff Gordon, Coinbase's VP of International Policy, has left the company to join OpenAI as Head of Policy for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Duff Gordon had worked at Coinbase for nearly four years, following his eight and a half years as a banker at Credit Suisse. As a crypto regulatory expert, he recently pointed out that UK banks failed to differentiate between compliant companies registered with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with low fraud rates and high-risk operators, resulting in millions of customers being unable to access legitimate and compliant services.
