PANews reported on April 16th that Spektr, a Copenhagen-based financial compliance AI infrastructure company, announced the completion of a $20 million Series A funding round. The round was led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA), with participation from existing investors Northzone, Seedcamp, and PSV Tech. This brings the company's total funding to $26 million. Founded in 2023 by the original HelloFlow core team, Spektr utilizes configurable workflows and AI agents to automate compliance tasks such as document review, equity structure analysis, and risk assessment, while retaining human review. The company currently has approximately 45 employees, primarily serving banks and large financial institutions, and already has clients including Pleo , Santander Leasing , Monta , Phantom , and Mercuryo . The new funding will be used to expand the engineering team and open offices in London and New York.
