PANews reported on April 18 that, according to official data, in the seven days ending April 16, Circle issued approximately 5.9 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 5.5 billion USDC, increasing the circulating supply by approximately 400 million USDC. The total circulating supply of USDC is 78.6 billion USDC, with reserves of approximately $78.8 billion USD, including approximately $46.3 billion USD from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $20.9 billion USD from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $11 billion USD from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $600 million USD from other bank deposits.
The circulating supply of USDC has increased by approximately 400 million coins in the past 7 days.
