Iran's top national security body stated that any attempt by an enemy to impose a naval blockade will be considered a violation of the ceasefire agreement.

PANews reported on April 18 that, according to Jinshi News, Iran's Supreme National Security Agency stated that Iran will consider any attempt by an enemy to impose a maritime blockade a violation of the ceasefire agreement and will prevent the conditional and limited opening of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is determined to control traffic in the Strait of Hormuz until the war is completely over and lasting peace is achieved in the region.

Furthermore, the head of Rosatom, Russia's state nuclear power company, stated that it is ready to assist in the removal of enriched uranium from Iran. Russia is the only country with positive experience in cooperating with Iran and is closely monitoring the progress of negotiations between the United States and Iran.
