Galaxy Research Director: Approximately 9,306 BTC are still held in the 518 Bitcoin addresses sanctioned by the US.

PANews reported on April 18 that Alex Thorn, head of research at Galaxy, disclosed data on the X platform showing that the United States has added a total of 518 Bitcoin addresses to the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) SDN sanctions list over the past few years. These addresses have received approximately 249,814 BTC and transferred out 239,708 BTC, and currently hold a net of approximately 9,306 BTC, equivalent to approximately $707 million at current prices.
