Sui's ecosystem protocol Volo disclosed that it suffered an attack, resulting in a loss of approximately $3.5 million.

PANews reported on April 22 that Sui's ecosystem protocol Volo disclosed on the X platform that Volo Vaults suffered a security vulnerability today, resulting in the theft of approximately $3.5 million in assets (WBTC, XAUm, and USDC). Volo stated that it detected the attack and immediately notified the Sui Foundation and ecosystem partners, freezing all vaults to prevent further losses. The total value locked (TVL) of approximately $28 million in other Volo vaults is secure. The vulnerability is limited to three specific vaults and there is no shared attack vector. Volo stated that it is prepared to absorb the loss itself and will make every effort to prevent the loss from being passed on to users. Once the crisis is resolved, the team will develop a remedial plan and release detailed plans as soon as possible.
