PANews reported on April 29th that OKX Onchain OS has released the Agent Payments Protocol (APP), an open payment standard for AI Agent commercial activities. This protocol defines payment methods for agents in commercial scenarios, expanding it from single payments to complete business processes, and will support various payment modes such as single payments, batch payments, pay-as-you-go payments, and escrow payments.

It is reported that the app adopts a multi-chain open architecture, allowing any chain to implement its own version. Initial partners include the Ethereum Foundation, Uniswap, Aptos, Nansen, Paxos, MoonPay, Altlayer, Zerion, and QuickNode. OKX Onchain OS stated that the app's launch will provide crucial payment infrastructure for the Agent economy, propelling AI Agents from "payment execution" to the "commercial era."
