PANews reported on May 2nd that, according to an official announcement from Wasabi Protocol, a security incident affecting its EVM deployment occurred on April 30th. The vulnerability has now been "fully contained," and Solana deployment and Prop AMM were unaffected. The project team stated that it has closed the attack entry point, rotated relevant credentials and keys, and is conducting an investigation with the assistance of security partners. Wasabi has sent on-chain messages to its holding addresses, indicating its willingness to resolve the issue through private negotiation and promising to release a detailed incident review and security improvement measures later.
Wasabi Protocol stated that the security incident involving the EVM deployment has been fully contained.
