James Dyett, head of sales at OpenAI, has left the company and will join Thrive Capital.

PANews reported on May 5 that James Dyett, head of sales at OpenAI, has left the company to join venture capital firm Thrive Capital as an "Operator in Residence".

Thrive Capital is reportedly one of OpenAI's major investors, and its founder, Joshua Kushner, has a close relationship with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. Thrive Capital has previously participated in multiple rounds of OpenAI's funding.
