Steven Kalifowitz, Chief Marketing Officer of Crypto.com, is leaving his post and will become an advisor to the CEO.

PANews reported on May 5th that Crypto.com announced that its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Steven Kalifowitz, will officially step down on June 30th and will subsequently become an advisor to the company's CEO.

The company stated that during Kalifowitz's nearly six-year tenure, he spearheaded Crypto.com's transformation from an encrypted application into a global brand, leading over $1 billion in branding and marketing investments, including large-scale sports and entertainment sponsorships and global advertising campaigns. Notable projects include a $70 million, 20-year naming rights deal for the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, and a $100 million global marketing campaign in partnership with actor Matt Damon. Furthermore, the company has established long-term partnerships with top sports IPs such as Formula 1 and the UFC.

Crypto.com noted that these strategic partnerships have helped it significantly increase brand awareness globally and reach millions of users. Kalifowitz previously served as Head of Brand at Twitter and President of the real estate platform Localize.city. Following this change, he will continue to participate in the company's strategic affairs as an advisor.
