PANews reported on May 6 that Ibrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, posted on social media that several statements made by the US on Axios "are an American wish list, not reality. What the Americans cannot get in face-to-face negotiations, they cannot get in a lost war." Rezaei also stated that Iran is prepared to open fire if the US does not make the necessary concessions.
