Mecka AI, a robotics AI data training company, has raised $60 million in funding, led by Framework Ventures.

PANews reported on June 2nd that Mecka AI, a robotic AI data training company, has raised a total of $60 million in funding. A $25 million Series A round was completed in November 2025, with an additional $35 million following. This round was led by Framework Ventures, with participation from Menlo Ventures, SV Angel, Kindred Ventures, and Ted Xiao, a former researcher at Google DeepMind and a founding member of Project Prometheus. The company collects human motion data using custom hardware (such as body sensors) and iPhones to train embodied AI models. Founder and CEO Josh Gao stated that based on signed contracts, the company expects annual recurring revenue of $100 million. Mecka AI currently has 40 employees.
