The official statement emphasizes that core functions for general users, including search and Q&A, text creation, image generation, and voice and video dialogue services, will remain free and will not affect existing user experiences and habits. Furthermore, Doubao will continue to offer new models, capabilities, and experience upgrades to free users, and a certain amount of free credit will be provided for some features in the professional version.

Furthermore, Doubao specifically clarified that recent online claims such as "forcing users to purchase memberships by reducing the experience of basic functions" are all false. The official statement indicated that they have noticed a large number of marketing accounts with the same IP address releasing highly consistent related messages, which are inconsistent with actual product planning.
