A new US-based crypto political action committee, Defend Developers, has been formed, focusing on legal protection for developers.

PANews reported on June 4th, citing CoinDesk, that a new political action committee (PAC), Defend Developers, has been formed in the United States to support incumbent legislators seeking legal protections for crypto developers. This hybrid PAC allows direct donations to candidates and also allocates unlimited corporate contributions for independent advertising. Founder Gavin Zavatone stated that they plan to raise and contribute over six figures in the midterm elections, covering dozens of key campaigns, as crypto experts need defenders in Congress. The PAC's board members include representatives from Uniswap Labs, the DeFi Education Foundation, and the Solana Policy Institute. Unlike super PACs like Fairshake with their multi-million dollar funding, this PAC is smaller.
