Pakistan's Interior Minister's visit to Iran aims to reach a new interim agreement.

PANews reported on June 6th, citing Turkey's Anadolu Agency, that Pakistani Interior Minister Mosin Naqvi visited Iran on Saturday to discuss new proposals aimed at breaking the US-Iran deadlock and reaching a temporary agreement. The report indicates that the negotiations are expected to focus on resuming a second round of talks between Washington and Tehran. This visit comes against the backdrop of Pakistan's efforts to mediate and help reach a broader agreement and end the US-Iran conflict.

In addition, the Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement strongly condemning the US military attacks on radar and coastal monitoring facilities in the Sirik region and Qeshm Island, calling these attacks a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement and a military aggression against Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The Iranian Foreign Ministry pointed out that the US's repeated violations of the ceasefire once again prove that it not only has no intention of easing tensions and returning to a stable path, but also puts regional security at serious risk through risky actions. The US government will bear all responsibility for the consequences and any potential escalation of the situation. The Iranian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Iran enjoys the inherent right to self-defense and will use all capabilities and resources to defend its national sovereignty, security, and national interests.
