PANews reported on June 7th that, according to Specter's on-chain monitoring, 13 long-dormant wallets belonging to an rETH holder were hacked on June 5th, resulting in a total loss of approximately $4.5 million in assets. The victim noticed the anomaly in time and successfully transferred the remaining $4.7 million worth of assets before the hackers could proceed further. These wallets had been dormant for several years, making them a target for the hackers, who are now beginning to launder the stolen funds.
Thirteen rETH-related wallets were attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately $4.5 million.
