Analyst: ETH/BTC ratio returns to 2016 lows; Ethereum has underperformed Bitcoin for a decade.

PANews reported on June 7th that on-chain analyst PlanB published his opinion on the X platform, stating that based on the ETH/BTC price ratio chart, Ethereum has significantly underperformed Bitcoin over the past decade. Data shows that the current ETH/BTC ratio is approximately 0.026, comparable to levels seen in March 2016, meaning ETH has returned to its value relative to BTC from ten years ago. ETH did not experience a significant surge during the 2023/2024 Bitcoin bull market, a similar situation occurred in 2017 and 2021, and even now, Ethereum still lacks upward momentum relative to Bitcoin.
