The U.S. CFTC has abandoned its plan to move into the SEC's offices and will extend its current Washington headquarters lease for another five years.

PANews reported on June 8 that, according to sources and related notifications, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has abandoned its plan to move into the offices of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The CFTC will instead extend its current lease for its Washington headquarters for another five years.
