The Digital Yuan International Operation Center signed agreements with 26 direct participants.

PANews reported on June 16 that, according to the Shanghai Securities News, at the 2026 China International Financial Exhibition which opened on June 16, the Digital RMB International Operation Center (CBETS) signed direct participant service agreements with the first batch of 26 financial institutions, including ICBC Asia. CBETS participants can leverage the system capabilities of CBETS to provide customers with low-cost, diversified, secure, and efficient cross-border digital payment services, facilitating cross-border trade and investment and financing, and promoting high-level opening up of the financial sector.
