Forbes: Crypto Super PAC Funds Begin Flowing into 2026 U.S. Primaries

PANews, June 21 – According to Forbes, as the 2026 U.S. primaries advance, political donations from the crypto industry have grown significantly. Protect Progress, a Democratic super PAC backed by the Fairshake network, continues to funnel funds into candidates across multiple key battleground districts, sparking controversy over "political narrative packaging." Disclosures show that in the Maryland House seat race alone, Protect Progress has poured over $4.9 million into candidate Adrian Boafo, with similar funding flowing to multiple Democratic candidates in Texas and Georgia.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress is advancing the Digital Asset Market Structure Bill (CLARITY Act), and related legislative progress is further elevating the importance of primary outcomes. Analysts believe the crypto industry's influence within the U.S. political system continues to expand, with some senators and candidates already publicly supporting a regulatory framework for the crypto industry.
