Kalshi CEO: Prediction market platform preparing for IPO, expected to list after 2027

PANews, June 24 – According to a CNBC report, Tarek Mansour, CEO of contract prediction market platform Kalshi, said the company is in the early stages of planning an IPO but made it clear it will not go public in 2026. *The Information* previously reported that Kalshi could list as early as between late 2027 and 2028. The report noted that Kalshi was valued at approximately $2 billion at the end of June 2025, and its valuation rose to around $22 billion after completing a Series F funding round in May this year. Mansour said that as the business and financial scale grow, discussing a listing "is a conversation that must be had." He also emphasized that Kalshi is controlling potential insider trading risks on the platform and enhancing market compliance and integrity by strengthening KYC, verifying traders' employer information, and filing cases against individual accounts.
