PANews June 28 news, according to Jinshi reports, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei, in response to questions about the implementation of the first clause regarding ending the war in Lebanon within the framework agreement on Israel-Lebanon and the US-Iran memorandum of understanding, stated that Iran, in line with its consistent policy based on the UN Charter and fundamental rules of international law, stresses the necessity of safeguarding Lebanon's national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and respecting the dignity and security of all Lebanese people. Iran regards this as a basic condition for the survival and stability of any understanding related to ending the war and the Zionist regime's occupation of Lebanon. On this basis, whether in the April 8 ceasefire agreement or in the June 18 memorandum of understanding on ending the war, Iran has placed stopping Israel's war and military operations in Lebanon on an equal priority with ending the war against Iran, and has so far insisted on their implementation. Iran emphasizes that full implementation of the first clause of the memorandum of understanding on ending the war — i.e., ending Israel's war and military operations in Lebanon and the withdrawal of the occupiers from all occupied Lebanese territories — is a basic condition for achieving a final stability agreement and establishing regional stability.
