Musk plans to resign from DOGE at the end of May

PANews reported on April 1 that according to Xiaoxiang Morning News, Elon Musk plans to resign from the Department of U.S. Government Efficiency (DOGE) at the end of May. In an interview with Fox News, Musk said that he was confident that he would achieve the goal of reducing the federal deficit by $1 trillion before leaving office. He also emphasized that the government was inefficient, there was a lot of waste and fraud, and he was confident that spending could be reduced by 15% without affecting key services. In addition, Musk questioned the phenomenon of the abnormal wealth of members of Congress. He pointed out that many members of Congress only have an annual salary of $200,000, but have assets as high as $20 million, questioning how they can accumulate such huge wealth with limited income.
