PANews reported on January 19th that, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, China's GDP in 2025 is estimated at 140,187.9 billion yuan, a 5.0% increase year-on-year. The per capita disposable income of residents nationwide is 43,377 yuan, a nominal increase of 5.0% year-on-year. In December, the electricity generation of industrial enterprises above designated size reached 858.6 billion kilowatt-hours, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. In 2025, national online retail sales increased by 8.6% year-on-year.
China's GDP growth target is 5% by 2025.
