LongHash发文称，随着比特币价格的飙升，比特币的活跃地址数量正在上升，但比特币价格与活跃地址数之间的相关性正在下降。根据比特币网络历史数据，从2009年1月到2021年1月4日，比特币每日价格和每日活跃地址数量的相关性得分为0.77，具有非常强的正相关性。但是，把范围缩小到2020年的数据，这个数字下降至0.55，仍为强正相关性。再进一步缩小范围，根据2020年8月1日到2021年1月4日的数据，该数字再次下降至0.28，为弱正相关性。这表明，2020年比特币的价格逐渐与其活跃的地址数量脱钩。也就是说，实际使用比特币的人数似乎与比特币价格波动相关性越来越小。
