OpenAI releases "Healthcare Edition of ChatGPT" to accelerate the application of AI in healthcare scenarios.

PANews reported on January 9th that OpenAI has launched the "OpenAI for Healthcare" product suite, supporting healthcare institutions in deploying AI to improve clinical and management efficiency while complying with HIPAA requirements. It is currently available on healthcare systems such as AdventHealth, UCSF, Cedars-Sinai, and HCA. Based on the GPT-5.2 model, the product provides functions such as clinical document generation, evidence citation, institutional pathway integration, and role-based access control; it is not used for model training. The official statement indicates that this initiative aims to enable AI to assist in large-scale, high-quality healthcare services.
