Solana, Fireblocks, Monad, and others collaborate to promote the standardization of cross-chain payments.

PANews reported on November 6th that, according to The Block, blockchain projects including Solana, Fireblocks, Monad, and Polygon are collaborating to establish a common framework for cross-chain payments. The newly formed Blockchain Payments Consortium (BPC) aims to "define a common framework that, based on the convenience and data requirements of traditional payments, improves the cross-chain transaction experience for stablecoins."

BPC's mission statement includes addressing "the challenges of transitioning between traditional and blockchain payments." Currently, BPC members include the Stellar Development Foundation, the TON Foundation, the Solana Foundation, the Monad Foundation, Fireblocks, Polygon Labs, and Mysten Labs.
