PANews reported on January 21 that, according to SEC filings, Grayscale has submitted an S-1 registration statement to launch a spot ETF product, "Grayscale Near Trust," based on NEAR blockchain assets. The trust plans to list on the NYSE Arca under the ticker symbol "GSNR." It will directly hold NEAR tokens and support subscriptions and redemptions in NEAR or cash. Coinbase will act as the custodian and prime broker.
