PANews reported on December 13th that, according to CNBC citing sources familiar with the matter, Coinbase is preparing to launch an internal prediction market powered by Kalshi, with an announcement possible as early as next week. While not an exclusive partnership, Kalshi will be Coinbase's only operator partnered with a prediction market once the product launches.

Previously, it was reported that Kalshi had joined forces with Coinbase, Robinhood, and others to form a prediction market alliance.
