PANews reported on December 5th that, according to mlmonchain monitoring, a whale shorted 375,000 HYPE tokens (worth $12.1 million) in the past 30 minutes – a short position almost equivalent to its spot holdings.

The wallet currently holds 400,000 HYPE tokens (worth $12.9 million), of which 200,000 are staked and another 200,000 are in the unstaking queue.
