PANews reported on January 27th that, according to The Block, prediction market platform Kalshi has opened a new office in Washington, D.C., to strengthen its strategic lobbying efforts with the U.S. government. The company has appointed John Bivona, a political strategist with over 20 years of experience, as its first head of federal government relations. Bivona previously served as the first White House liaison officer for the Department of Homeland Security during the Biden administration. The company has also hired Blake Bee, former senior manager of state and local public policy in Amazonas, to handle state-level policy matters.
Kalshi has opened a new office in Washington, D.C., to bolster his lobbying efforts in the United States.
