PANews reported on December 6th that, according to official data, in the seven days ending December 4th, Circle issued approximately 8.2 billion USDC and redeemed approximately 6.2 billion USDC, increasing the circulating supply by approximately 2 billion USDC. The total circulating supply of USDC is 78 billion, with reserves of approximately $78.1 billion, including approximately $46 billion from overnight reverse repurchase agreements; approximately $21.6 billion from Treasury bonds with maturities of less than three months; approximately $9.9 billion from systemically important institution deposits; and approximately $600 million from other bank deposits.
Data: Approximately 2 billion USDC coins have been issued in circulation over the past 7 days.
