British Reform Party leader Farage plans to push for "Crypto Bill" to make Britain a global crypto hub

PANews reported on May 29 that according to Bloomberg, Nigel Farage, leader of the British Reform Party, announced at the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas that if he came to power, he would promote the "Crypto Bill", which plans to reduce the capital gains tax on crypto investments from 24% to 10%, establish a two-year regulatory sandbox, and prohibit restrictions on crypto payment services. The move is intended to attract crypto-friendly voters aged 18-34 and align with Trump's crypto stance. Currently, the Reform Party's polls have surpassed the ruling Labour Party. Farage called cryptocurrency a peaceful rebellion against "centralized government control" and opposed the Bank of England's proposed CBDC "Britcoin".
