Most Asian cryptocurrency stocks may fall due to Trump's tariff plan, Metaplanet closed down 9.44% on Monday

PANews reported on February 3rd that according to TheBlock, Trump's tariff plan has caused market concerns, and most Asian cryptocurrency stocks have fallen sharply. Japan's Metaplanet's stock price closed down 9.44% on Monday, Hong Kong's OKG Tech's stock price fell 9.09%, and Boyaa Interactive's stock price also fell 4.64%. In addition, Japan's Nikkei 225 index fell 2.66%, and South Korea's Kospi index fell 2.52%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index was basically flat.

“The cryptocurrency market reacted negatively to the U.S. tariff announcement, and given that the news happened early Saturday morning in Asia, Asian stock market investors did not react to the news until today, which is why Asian cryptocurrency stocks were sold off,” said Peter Chung, research director at Presto Research.
