PANews reported on December 8 that according to Jin Shi, citing CCTV news, the South Korean Ministry of Defense reported on the 8th local time that when President Yoon Seok-yeol announced the emergency martial law on the evening of the 3rd of this month, the Anti-Espionage Command’s First Director Zheng Chengyu (sound) and the Anti-Espionage Investigation Group Leader Kim Dae-woo (sound) who sent troops to the National Assembly and the Election Management Commission were suspended. The Ministry of Defense said that the two suspended people have been arranged to stand by in the troops located in the metropolitan area. Previously, the South Korean Ministry of Defense suspended three martial law commanders, including Anti-Espionage Commander Lu Yinxiong, Capital Defense Command Commander Lee Jin-woo, and Army Special Warfare Command Commander Guo Zhonggen, on the 6th of this month.
