PeckShield: 16 crypto hacks in January, totaling $86.01 million in losses.

PANews reported on February 1 that PeckShield published an article on the X platform stating that in January 2026, there were 16 hacking incidents in the cryptocurrency field, with a total loss of $86.01 million. Compared with January 2025 ($87.25 million), this represents a slight year-on-year decrease of 1.42%, but a significant month-on-month increase of 13.25% compared with December 2025 ($75.95 million).
