PANews reported on December 4 that according to Jinshi, South Korean Parliamentary Affairs Director General Kim Min-ki held a press conference on December 4 local time and expressed strong protest against the unconstitutional and illegal acts that occurred in the National Assembly Building and the losses caused by them. Kim Min-ki announced that starting from the 4th, the Ministry of National Defense staff and police will be completely banned from entering and leaving the National Assembly Building. He said, "This is an emergency measure to protect the personal safety of members of the National Assembly and ensure the function of the National Assembly." Kim Min-ki said that the National Assembly will "thoroughly grasp the physical and other losses caused by the declaration of martial law this time" and investigate the illegal acts to the end. Kim Min-ki also said that according to the current situation, the incident also caused injuries to National Assembly staff, and the exact number and degree of injuries are currently being counted.
