Zebec Network acquires compliance and identity platform Gatenox

PANews reported on June 5 that according to Cointelegraph, financial infrastructure company Zebec Network announced the acquisition of compliance and identity platform Gatenox to integrate KYC, KYB and AML tools into its Web3 payment system. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but it was confirmed to be completed in full cash. Zebec plans to apply for compliance registration with the EU Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) and the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in 2025 with the help of Gatenox technology. The acquisition will enable Zebec to gradually reduce its reliance on third-party compliance service providers such as Sumsub.
