PANews reported on February 19 that according to CoinDesk, the decentralized finance (DeFi) platform MANTRA has obtained a virtual asset service provider (VASP) license issued by the Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARΑ), which allows it to provide virtual asset trading, brokerage and investment management services in the region.
MANTRA focuses on the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs), is committed to connecting decentralized finance with traditional finance, and provides compliant investment products for institutional investors and qualified investors. Previously, MANTRA has reached an agreement with the UAE real estate giant DAMAC Group to put at least $1 billion in assets on the chain.
