PANews, June 22 – Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that recent voices have suggested AI text analysis could make online anonymity unsustainable. In response, he revealed that at some point during this decade, he authored a publicly available document of moderate importance to Ethereum under an anonymous identity, and he estimates there are roughly 200 to 2,000 documents within the Ethereum ecosystem of no less importance than that document. Vitalik invited the community and AI tools to “find” this anonymous work among those documents, as a test of whether AI can de-anonymize authors in large-scale texts through stylistic analysis and other means.
