PANews reported on March 3 that Solana announced on its X platform the launch of its AI Agent Registry trust layer. The Agent Registry natively integrates identity, reputation, and verification registry information into the Solana network, providing each agent with a verified identity profile, including agent identity, functionality, and owner information; recording the agent's operational history; and supporting independent verification of agent performance by third parties. The Agent Registry is a Solana implementation of the ERC-8004 protocol, developed by Quantu AI, and aims to provide agents with discovery and trust mechanisms.
