Iranian sources: A new Supreme Leader has been appointed.

PANews reported on March 8th, citing CCTV News, that Iranian sources stated on March 8th local time that a new Supreme Leader has been appointed, and Hosseini Busheri, head of the Secretariat of the Council of Experts, will be responsible for the announcement. Alam Khoda, the representative of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Khamenei in Reza Khorasan province, stated that the election for the Supreme Leader has been completed and a new leader has been appointed. He called all claims and reports that the Council of Experts has not yet made a decision "complete lies."

Alam Khoda stated that, according to the Iranian constitution, no one, not even members of the Council of Experts, has the right to change this decision.

According to Iranian sources on the 8th, the Iranian Council of Experts has made a final decision on the new Supreme Leader. The report did not reveal the name of the new Supreme Leader.
