PANews reported on March 9 that, according to Jinshi, the South Korean KOSPI index closed down 333.41 points, or 5.97%, at 5251.46 on Monday, March 9. The Nikkei 225 index closed down 2892.12 points, or 5.20%, at 52728.72 on Monday, March 9.
Japanese and South Korean stock markets closed down more than 5%.
